More About Disability Attorney Jason Mohler
Jason Mohler has been helping people win Social Security Disability benefits for over 13 years. He also has three years of experience in family law.
He joined Levine Benjamin in 2025 because of the firm’s commitment to personal attention for every client.
Jason represented his first disability benefits claimant during law school. After graduating, he worked as a disability lawyer for a firm more focused on handling masses of cases quickly than caring about clients.
Then he worked for the Social Security Administration disability hearing office in Toledo, gaining an inside view of how the Social Security Disability process works.
He went into private practice for himself, handling family law and disability cases, before joining Levine Benjamin.
Jason believes strongly in listening to his clients and understanding what they’re going through as they seek economic relief in the midst of health problems.
He’s seen disability lawyers show up at hearing offices seeming to meet their clients for the first time, barely knowing their situations. That’s not how Jason, or any Levine Benjamin disability attorney, operates.
“I have always felt you have to know your client in order to be able to successfully advocate on their behalf,” Jason said.

Jason is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Illinois.
When he’s not working, he spends time with his wife and three children. He trains and competes in Jiu Jitsu and coaches his son and daughters’ Jiu-Jitsu class.
He won the gold medal at the International Brazilian Jui Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) Pans Tournament in 2022. The best part, he said, was hearing his 10-year-old son say he was proud.
