I have myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), plus some other co-morbid conditions which rendered me unable to work. To those who are complaining about things taking too long, or long gaps of silence, or attorneys being maybe brusque with them on the phone…First of all…the SSD process is long, drawn-out, and this is not the fault of your attorney. You will go through periods of time where you may not talk to them for MONTHS…Why? Because nothing is going on. They are waiting patiently just like you.

Secondly…you hire an attorney to win your case…not be your best buddy or therapist. Third…they are busy…you are not the ONLY case they are working on.
